Membership dues help support our operations and allow us to continue to organize events where Chinese language educators may share and learn with other Chinese language teaching professionals. For example, CLTA-SC offers annual professional development workshops such as Fall Technology Workshop and Spring Pedagogy Workshop, in addition to student activities.

CLTA-SC members enjoy the following benefits:

• Attend, present papers at, and organize panels for meetings and workshops of CLTA-SC
• Free admission to most workshops and events (non-members are charged a fee to attend)
• Reduced admission to special workshops and events that require higher costs to offer
• Receive information on meetings and conferences sponsored by CLTA-SC
• Elect members to the Board of Directors of CLTA-SC
• Eligibility for nomination and election to the Board of Directors of CLTA-SC

CLTA-SC offers 3 types of membership: lifetime, regular and a discounted student membership. Regular and student memberships are valid for one year.

• Life membership – $200 one-time fee
• Regular membership – $30 annual fee
• Student membership – $15 annual fee (valid student ID required)
